Aviya Aerospace Systems is pleased to announce that a major aerospace customer completed its audit of Aviya’s software development and V&V capabilities and the organization once again achieved a Level 4 rating with zero findings.

This audit is conducted every three years and is the second successive audit where a Level 4 rating has been achieved.

The audit was based on the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) from Carnegie Mellon University, which was used to determine the maturity of the organization’s software and certification capabilities.

“Having achieved back-to-back Level 4 ratings is a testament to not only Aviya’s process focus, but also our consistency in delivering a high-level of quality in our engineering capabilities and products.”, stated Billings Chan, Chief Technology Officer at Aviya Aerospace Systems. “The auditor’s overall comments included how comprehensive and well organized Aviya’s QMS system is and, more importantly, how knowledgeable employees are with using the QMS in their day-to-day activities.”
